here, the incision is really starting to dry out. though i feel like there are tentative traces of healing, the world's wounds are just opening up all around.

thursday, march 20:

now it's nearly my one-month anniversary since the biopsy. can't tell much difference, but i do feel like it's dryer than a week ago. i keep thinking each picture ought to be dramatically different from the next, but i still see the same red ring and green bruise. leanne noted, with some hope, that my breasts don't look as lopsided one from the other anymore, so perhaps there was just some swelling at first that has cleared up.

these pictures, it does cross my mind, might seem a bit dull and/or obsessive. see pictures of today in san francisco instead.
